James L. Wills, 69, formerly of Burlington, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at River Hills Village in Keokuk. Born on Jan. 8, 1956, in Burlington, he was the son of Richard and Emma Wills.

James had the kindest heart and always had a smile on his face. He loved art and was gifted in drawing. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals. His gentle spirit will be missed by many friends and family that loved him dearly.

The funeral service for James will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at Lunning Chapel with David Mixon officiating. Interment will be held in Burlington Memorial Park.
