Marjorie J. Stratton, 97, of West Burlington, died at 7:30 PM Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Klein Center in West Burlington.
Born June 1, 1924, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Elijah E. and Beda Bjork Granaman. On January 9, 1959, she married Eugene "Jake" Herbert Stratton in Burlington. He died on October 14, 1991.
Marjorie worked for IAAP for 30 years.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing BINGO, watching re-runs on TV and spending time with her family.
Survivors include many great-nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Thomas and Willard "Bud" Granaman; and seven sisters, Melva "Toots" Statter, Ona "Sis" DeVilbiss, Lela "Lee" Wakefield, Pauline "Polly" Noble, Grace Peterson, Ruth Smith, Leola "Winky" Hallgren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Stratton will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Peace Lutheran Church.
