Wanda Lee Dile Sink, 96, of Burlington, died Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born June 10, 1927, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Everett and Anna Morrow Dile. On March 20, 1943, she married Donald Sink in New London, Mo. He died July 22, 2011.

Wanda was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 22 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Club. Wanda enjoyed crocheting, needlework, traveling, and camping. She was involved with the Steamboat Senior Citizen Center for over 25 years, where she was the secretary for a period of that time.

Survivors include her daughter Judy (Kenny) Davis of Port Orange, Fla.; two sons Mike (Wilma) Sink and Dennis (Debbie) Sink both of Burlington; twelve grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 20 great great-grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, three brothers, and grandson Matthew Sink.

According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel. A celebration of life for Wanda will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
