Stephen Dwight Morrison, 58, of Danville, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at his home.

Born Nov. 6, 1964, in Burlington, he was the son of Gerald Dwight Morrison and Sharon Kay Bell Phillips.&nbsp;

Stephen graduated from Burlington Community High School in 1983.&nbsp;

He owned and worked for Steve Morrison Trucking for 40 years. He hauled sand, gravel and anything else that was needed.&nbsp;

Stephen loved NASCAR and sprint car racing. His favorite was World of Outlaws and 34 Raceway. He loved riding his Harley and taking racing photography. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his niece Kayli.

Survivors include his step-dad, Bill (Marlyce Allison) Phillips; sister, Lisa (Bob Boyle) Morrison; niece, Kayli (Jacob) Brooks and their daughter, Noah Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon Phillips and Gerry Morrison.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
