Mary Stewart, 66, of Burlington, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at her home in Burlington.
Born April 6, 1957, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Gerald and Ila Long Miller.
Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. When she was not spending time with family and friends, she was known for watching a good movie or going to the occasional yard sale and finding treasures. Mary had a love for plants. As soon as you walked into her house, people were able to see just how much she loved her plants.
Survivors include her sons; Dustin Stewart, Jason Stewart, and Ricky Stewart; grandchildren, Noel, Libby, Abigail, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, and Jaxson; great-grandchild, Zaylyn; siblings, Ila Jacobs, Jerry Miller, Dianne Thompson, and Brad Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her former husbands, Jerry Stewart and Gary McGinity; and two siblings, Lisa and Terry.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date
