JoEllen Molle, 76, of Danville, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at her home.
Born Nov. 3, 1947, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Lyle Howard and Wilma Alberta Isett Bickford.
JoEllen was a farmer at heart. She also worked as an operator for Grimm Brothers, Sinclair as a mechanic and Wapello School as a janitor.
She enjoyed fishing, golfing and sports. But most of all, JoEllen loved her family and spending time with them. She will be remembered as a hard worker but also a jokester.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Ryan (Tisha) Molle of Danville, and Lucas (Kara) Molle of Tiffin; daughter, Debrah (Rich) Grunsted of Panora; five grandchildren, Griffen Molle, Jaeda Molle, Skyler Weber, Logan Weber, and Taryn Molle; one sister, Kay Lee (Richard) Matthews of Wapello; and nephew, Mason (Shannon) Matthews of Wapello.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
A celebration of life for JoEllen will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. at Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division Street, Burlington). Visitation at the funeral home will be held before the service from 9 to 10 a.m.
A memorial has been established for the Alzheimer's Association.
