Claudia J. Lyons, 85, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Burlington, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Simpson Health Center, Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge.

A service honoring Claudia’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, at First Congregational Church in Burlington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Claudia taught in various schools in the Burlington Community School District.&nbsp; In addition to teaching in schools, she taught students individually and in groups&nbsp; out of her home. Claudia adopted the Suzuki method for teaching students at a young age. She was very passionate and committed to supporting young learners in their journey to being musicians.&nbsp;
