John Edward "JT" Timmerman, 57, of Burlington, died Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born April 14, 1964, in Burlington, he was the son of James Edward and Gail M. Smith Timmerman.&nbsp;

He was an electrician and worked for a union, traveling a lot and working primarily down south.

Survivors include his mother, Gail M. Braun of Burlington; one daughter, Jamie Timmerman of Zimmerman, Minn.; one son, Caleb Timmerman of Zimmerman of Minn.; and two brothers, Patrick Timmerman and David Braun, both of Burlington.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
