Joe Cosby, 74, of Burlington, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at his home.

Born November 17, 1948, in Marceline, Mo., he was the son of Willard and Leola Williams Cosby.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War from 1968 until 1971. Joe worked for UPS as a delivery driver for many years.

Joe enjoyed keeping his house and yard nice looking. He always enjoyed visiting with his family and friends as well.

Survivors include his sisters, Alma "Ruth" (Dean) Hazen of Centralia, Mo., Thelma Hall of Hudson, Fla., and a niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Wanda Stone.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
