Ruth Miller died on Monday, Dec. 6th, 2021, at home near Rogersville,
Mo., surrounded by family.&nbsp; 

She was
born on March 24, 1932, to Francis and Gladys Long Clifton of
Earlville, Iowa. Ruth was married for 69 years to the Rev. Melvin
Miller; he died Jan. 21, 2022.

Ruth was a wife, mother, foster mother, and friend to many.  She retired as a manager of Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Des Moines.  Mel and Ruth spent their retirement years together in Burlington and Springfield, Mo.&nbsp;

She is survived by her children, Ben Miller, David Miller, Deb Stover, Carolyn Schultz, and Mark Miller, 15 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

Ruth was preceded in death by her
parents; brother, John Clifton; sisters, Eleanor Cambruzzi and Joyce Gearhart; and son, Larry Miller.

Ruth will be buried in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery in Earlville, Iowa.
