Phyllis Antonette Knopp, 95, of Burlington, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at Klein Center in West Burlington.
Born July 5, 1926, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Edward Marcus and Josephine Marie Deitering Kelso. On Aug. 5, 1950, she married Richard Laverne Knopp in Burlington. He died July 9, 2019.
Mrs. Knopp was a homemaker and worked 10 plus years in the gift shop at Mercy Hospital.
She was a 1944 graduate of St. Paul's Catholic High School, member of SS. John & Paul Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of Mercy Hospital auxiliary, St. Francis Care Center auxiliary and AARP.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Knopp will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. James Flattery as the celebrant. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Divine Mercy Parish-SS. John & Paul Catholic Church.
