Azalea Ann Delgado, of Fort Madison, Iowa, gained her tiny angel wings on Monday, April 6, 2026, embraced by her family at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Born on April 6, 2026, in Iowa City, Iowa, she was the daughter of Christopher Delgado and Joanna Smith.

Despite Azalea’s short time on earth, she was deeply loved and cherished by her family. She loved hearing her mother's voice talking and singing to her while in her mother’s womb.

Azalea will forever be loved and remembered by her parents Christopher and Joanna. She is survived by several other family members who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by a grandmother Lori.

A celebration of Azalea’s life will be held at a later date.
