Marjorie Ann Streeter, 86, of Burlington, died on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Born on Jan. 27, 1937, in Burlington, she was the daughter of John and Ruth Zaugg Hodel. She married Edward Streeter on Sept. 24, 1976, in Monmouth, Ill. Marge retired from Klein Manufacturing. She was a member of the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.
Survivors include Edward’s children, Virginia (Mike) Pyle of West Burlington, Edward F. Streeter of North Liberty, Yvonne (Karl) Judd of Montrose, daughter-in-law Cindy (Tom) Myers of Memphis, Mo.; sisters Dorothy Rinkenberger of Spring, Texas, and Judy (Bill) Gerst of Mediapolis, brother-in-law John (Melinda) Streeter of Morrison, Colo., and sisters-in-law Yvonne Gallagher of La Jolla, Calif., and Carol Streeter of Colo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers-in-law, three nephews, and one niece.
Friends may call after 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3 and the family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Lunning Chapel. The family will also receive friends from 9:45-10:15 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, at the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church. Ministers of the church will officiate. Interment will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.
