Judith M. Erickson, 85, of Burlington, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2023, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born Aug. 26, 1937, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Merle Vernon and Marie Edna Elizabeth Northrup Cohoon.

On Dec. 3, 1961, she married Clinton Erickson Sr. in Monmouth, Ill. He died Nov. 9, 2003.

Judith was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a packer for Midwest Biscuit. Judith was goofy and funny, always laughing. She loved her family, especially her great-grandson, Braxton.

Survivors include her daughter Kim (Steven) Johnston of Burlington; two grandchildren Christine Johnston and Allen Johnston both of Burlington; great-grandson Braxton Durr; brother Dennis Cohoon of Burlington and sister Sally (George) Starkey of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clinton and one son Clinton Erickson Jr.

The service for Mrs. Erickson will be Wednesday, Feb. at 10 a.m. at Lunning Chapel with Pastor Jeff Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
