Larry E. Clawson, 82, of Danville died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at Danville Care Center. Born Nov. 3, 1939, in Butte, Mont., he was the son of Ernest Lavern and Nellie Dowling Clawson. He married Harriet Potter; they later divorced. Larry worked for Hughes Aircraft and as an engineer before moving to Nebraska. He then began working for Roto-Rooter in Omaha, Neb. Larry enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross and the animal shelter, where he was responsible for transportation of pets from shelter to shelter. Survivors include one son, Eugene Clawson, and one daughter, Annette Clawson, both of Middletown; and one brother, Ken Clawson of Montana. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
