Trish Ditsworth, 83, of West Burlington, died Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 21, 1941 in Burlington, she was the daughter of John Everett and Alta Beatrice Walker Erickson.
She attended middle school in Burlington and graduated from Humbolt High School in Iowa. She married Thomas Alvin Ditsworth in 1962.
Trish was a homemaker. She also drove cars for auto auctions. She retired after 10 years as a trucking dispatcher.
Trish was a member of Parkside First Baptist Church for 14 years. She enjoyed photography and was a member of the shutterbug camera club. She enjoyed birding, playing cards and games with friends and was a farmgirl at heart.
Survivors include her husband of Burlington; one son Darrin Ditsworth of Burlington; one grandson Jacob Ditsworth of Burlington and best friend Sarah Bissell of West Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The memorial service for Trish will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 20 at Parkside First Baptist Church with the Reverend Joe Terranella officiating. Family will receive friends an hour before the service. Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. in Burge Cemetery, New London.
Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
A memorial has been established in memory of Trish.
