Sally Jo Hamilton, 89, of West Burlington, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at her home.

Born Sept. 9, 1934, in Kalona, she was the daughter of Albert and Alice Kos Stumpf.  On March 11, 1957, she married Peter Hamilton in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Brad Hamilton; daughters, Tara Hamilton and Amy Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lola Hogan, Barbara Stickler, Phyllis "Jean" Westerbeck, and Judy Allen.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division St.  

The memorial service for Mrs. Hamilton will be 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division St. with Fr. Dominic Nguyen officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at Prugh Funeral Service following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for St. Jude Children's Hospital, and Divine Mercy Parish.
