Lorraine V. Gieselman, 91, of Burlington, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at the Klein Center in Burlington.
Born Dec. 12, 1929, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of Joseph C. and Daisy V. Almond Haina.
She married Warren A. Gieselman on Aug. 7, 1954, in Mt. Rainier, Md. He died March 12, 2015.
She worked as a teacher’s aide for many years for the Burlington School District and was a homemaker. She was a member of West Hill United Methodist Church, and years prior she was the church organist for Asbury Methodist Church. She was a member of Farm Bureau, the Good Sam Camping Club, and the Burlington Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her son, Neal Gieselman of Champlin, Minn.; two daughters, Marilyn Cornick of Burlington and Joan Coovert of Manhattan, Kan.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The graveside funeral service and interment for Mrs. Gieselman will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Dean Graber will officiate.
A memorial has been established for the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
