
Joshua Dale Charles Todd, 51, of Lomax, Illinois, passed away at 9:14 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.
Josh was born February 11, 1974 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Danny and Kathy Spiker Todd. On June 12, 2010 he married Gina Huss. They later divorced.
Josh was a graduate of Dallas City High School. Following high school he worked at Farmland in Monmouth and as a farmhand for Virginia Brown for several years. After that he was employed for a short time at Pella Windows in Macomb and for the past 15 years was employed by Champion Spark Plug in Burlington. He enjoyed playing pool with friends, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include four daughters: Iesha (Robert Hancock) Todd of Keokuk, Iowa, Katie (Keith) Rittenhouse of LaHarpe, Kierra (Caleb Shinberger) Todd of Oquawka and Kelsey (Tyler Jenkins) Todd of Macomb; two step-children: Autumn Todd and Madison Todd; his father: Danny Todd and mother: Kathy Spiker both of Lomax, fifteen grandchildren; six siblings: Jeremy (Tina) Todd of Dallas City, Jason (Kenna) Todd of Lomax, Justin (Aleta) Todd of Hamilton, Phillip (Laura) Butler of Lomax, Stacey Knapp of Stronghurst and Nikki Jackson of Burlington and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother: Terry Todd and his grandparents: Charles and Fern Todd and John and Lorine Spiker.
Cremation has been entrusted to Banks & Beals Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. A luncheon will follow.
