Gary Gene Baker, 66 of Burlington, died Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his home.

Born Aug. 15, 1956, in Burlington, he was the son of Calvin “Jack” and Doris Smith Baker.

Gary graduated from Burlington High School. He worked for the City of Burlington Sanitation Department. Gary enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved to be outdoors.

Survivors include one son Gary Gene (Baker Jr.) Rayburn of Burlington; one daughter Patricia Baker (Arnold) of West Burlington; one brother Jim Baker of Burlington.

The memorial service for Gary was be 3 p.m. Monday, April 17 at Lunning Chapel with Pastor Simeon Counterman officiating. Inurnment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
