Carrie Anne Wagler, 66, of Burlington, died Monday, September 25, 2023, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born Aug. 3, 1957, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Don and Anne Lovely Hensley. On May 15, 1995, she married Darrell Wagler in Burlington. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Carrie graduated from Burlington High School. She worked for the local Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. She was the executive assistant to the Plant Manager. She retired after 26 years of service.

Carrie enjoyed gardening, knitting and cross-stich.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell of Burlington; one son Matthew Kranzler of New London; three sisters Leanne Hullett of Rock Island, Illinois, Mary Beth Lemkau of Muscatine, Iowa and Janet (Michael) Bohnenkamp of Stronghurst, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Virginia Turner.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
