Mark Charles Reusch, 75, of Burlington, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his home.

Born April 24, 1947, in Burlington, he was the son of Charles Arthur and Jean Carolyn Schlarbaum Reusch. 

He was a graduate of Burlington High School in 1967. 

Mark worked for the Chicago, Burlington, Quincy Railroad which later became BNSF. He retired after 30 years of working for the railroad. 

He was a member of the Eagle's Club. Mark was very involved in the Boy Scouts; from helping his sons become Eagle Scouts to volunteering with other troops. Mark was a former Eagle Scout himself. He also enjoyed attending the Players Workshop performances. Mark enjoyed being outdoors; either working in his yard or planting tulips. Most of all, he enjoyed his pets and always had a cat and a dog.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilea Twyman of Mount Pleasant and Cinnamon Ague of Canyon Lake, Texas; two sons, Devin Reusch of Cedar Rapids and Darth Reusch of Burlington; step-daughter, Dana Leich; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, high school sweetheart, Sherry Corley, and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.

The funeral service for Mr. Reusch will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, at Prugh Funeral Service. Cremation will be entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory following the service. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
