Debbie Ann Johnson, 69, of Burlington, died unexpectedly Nov. 27, 2024, in West Burlington. Born Oct. 13, 1955, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Wayne Carroll and Patricia Ann Johnson. She married Lynn Ament on Sept. 25, 1972.
Debbie worked for Shearer’s for 17 years until her retirement.
She loved her animals which included chickens, birds, cats and dogs. Her favorite past times were shopping Amazon, drinking Mt. Dew, hanging out with her granddaughter and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her constant companion Lynn Ament; two daughters Yolanda (Jody) Hummer and Lisa Ament; five grandchildren, Anthony Burns, Brandon Ament, Angel Ament, Cameron Ament and Alysah Rodriguez and brother Frank Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Johnson and sister Robin Johnson in infancy.
According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
