Chad Davis Stamper, 42, of Burlington, died July 24, 2022, at his home.&nbsp;

Born June 3, 1980, in Galesburg, Illinois, he was the son of David Stamper and Brenda Hayburn Stamper.&nbsp;

He married Sara Powell on March 17, 2017. He worked for Federal-Mogul in production. &nbsp;Chad loved fishing, target shooting, and being outdoors.&nbsp;

Survivors include his wife Sara Stamper of Burlington; two children, Aaron Stamper and Astara Stamper both of Burlington; his parents, Brenda Stamper of Kirkwood, Illinois, and David and Jean Stamper of Burlington; one brother Greg Hayburn of Kirkwood, Illinois; one sister Hillary Hayes of Burlington; two step-sisters, Jenny Easton of Burlington and Lori (Jim) Parcel of Davenport and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Howard and Jean Stamper, and his maternal grandparents Lester and Marie Hayburn.&nbsp;

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6th at Lunning Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.&nbsp;

Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.&nbsp;
