
Robert W. Blasor, 69, of Burlington, died Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Hospice House in West Burlington. Born on April 8, 1957, in Kansas, he was the son of Robert and Geraldine Jones Blasor.
For fifty years Robert drove a truck for several local trucking companies. In his free time, he loved golfing and meeting up with friends for coffee. Robert enjoyed watching old western shows, especially Walker Texas Ranger and M.A.S.H. and a good old WWE wrestling match. He never wanted to miss his granddaughter’s sporting events or school events. His family meant the most to him and brought him the most joy.
He is survived by his two daughters: Tonya Blasor of Burlington, and Samantha (Steven) Bain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two grandchildren: Ben Kathol and Kyli Curry. He is also survived by three siblings: Rick (Cheryl) Valverde of Cherryville, Kansas, Rodney (Julie) Blasor of For Mohave, Arizona, and Larry (Theresa) Blasor of Cherryville, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Alex Valverde and Jefferey Blasor.
Per his wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
