Dorothy N. Campbell, 97, of West Burlington, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born on January 25, 1928, in Fairfield, Iowa. She was the daughter of David and Goldie Anderson Tedrow. On July 14, 1956, in Fairfield, she married Victor J. Campbell Jr. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2000.
Dorothy was a graduate of Libertyville High School. For several years she worked for C & E where she retired from in 1990. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crossword puzzles and yard work. She was always looking for a good deal and enjoyed bargain shopping. Dorothy was always up for an adventure and loved to go on trips. She especially loved her stays in Florida. Most of all Dorothy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters: Linda (John) Latty of Burlington and Sharon Boley of Burlington; daughter in-law Lori Campbell of West Burlington; six grandchildren: Johnna (Darrin) Knapp, Emma (Justin) Latty, Janelle (Dan) Strait, Jordan Boley, Colton (Paige) Campbell. Jamie (Mandy) Zang and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Victor; son Ronald Campbell; son in-law Kirby Boley; sister and brother in-law Mildred and Duane Cary; brother and sister in-law Vernon and Maxine Tedrow and her beloved dog Nila.
Cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.
Interment will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
