Arthur “Art” Gerdes Roberts, 62, died Friday, May 27, 2022, in Burlington. Art was born November 13, 1959, at St. Clara’s Hospital in Lincoln, Ill. He was the son of Georgina Kamp Roberts and Bruce Irvin Roberts and was raised by Georgina and Thomas Frantz. Art was a graduate of Fort Madison High School. He married Tina Marie Cox on June 22, 2013, in Burlington. Art retired after 31 years working in the City of Burlington, Street Department. He enjoyed cooking and playing his guitar in his spare time. He loved riding his “Harley” and took great pride in showing it. Art was an avid hunter in his younger days. Survivors include his wife; children, Trista Roberts and Erica Williams of Burlington, Nicole Miller and Bobbie Hopkins of Des Moines, and Tommy Lee Helms of Galesburg, Ill.; brothers, Glen Mathew Roberts, Dana (Geraldine) Frantz, Terry (Carla) Frantz, Keith Frantz, and Stephen (Cindy) Frantz; sister, JoDee (Howard) Wolfe; and 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgina, his father, Thomas, and Bruce. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at Lunning Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel and will be accorded following the visitation.&nbsp;&nbsp;
