Cheryl Ann Levinson, 78, of Burlington died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, at
University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Born Sept. 11, 1943, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Raymond Henry and Irene Helen Linquist Heckenberg.
Cheryl graduated from West Burlington Arnold High School in 1961.
On Dec. 28, 2002, she married Robert Levinson in Burlington.
Cheryl worked for Don Pease Company, the Des Moines County Treasurer Office, and she volunteered at Great River Medical Center.
Cheryl was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Kim Duke of Sperry; son, Jeff Albright of West Burlington; sister, Marge Voelker of Burlington; two step-children Kelli Poland of Mediapolis and Brian Levinson of South Carolina; and one grandson.
There will be a memorial service Thursday, Jan. 13 at 1
p.m. at Lunning Chapel with the Reverend Ralph Andersen officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 12. Friends may call after
noon with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lunning
Chapel.
Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
A memorial has been established for the Burlington Public Library.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
