Judith Ann Bellegante, 84, of Burlington, died Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born July 18, 1941, in Richfield Springs, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Beatrice (Stock) Clemens. On April 2, 1966, she married Floyd Bellegante in Wichita, KS. Sadly, Floyd passed away February 6, 2011.
Judith loved being a homemaker and she took great pride in taking care of her family. Cooking was a passion and she enjoyed crafting meals that brought everyone together. Judith's talents extended to sewing. She was an accomplished dress maker, making two of her daughters, and her daughter-in-law's, wedding dress. Her house was kept well and so was her garden. Moreover, Judith loved her family deeply and appreciated all the time she was able to spend with them. Her passing leaves an emptiness, but her memory and kindness will continue through all who love her.
Survivors include her children, Debi Cox of Fort Madison, Lisa Vannatta of Council Bluffs, Pam L. (Steven) Collett of Burlington, Mark (Mandy) Bellegante of Burlington, and John Bellegante of Burlington; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Roger Clemens and Shirley Collison.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory and no services are scheduled at this time.
Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
Please continue to keep Judith in your thoughts during this difficult time.
