
Evelyn Lucille Buck, 90, of Trenton, Fla., and formerly of Danville, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025. She was born to Alfred and Cynthia Stuller Gray on May 16, 1934 in Chambersburg, Ill. She was united in marriage to Charles Buck on Dec. 3, 1949 in Palmyra, Mo.
She lived for Christ, her husband, and her children. Naturally, as grandchildren came along, she doted on them all. Church and the Danville Community were the people she loved and served her whole life. After the passing of her husband of 50 years she relocated to Florida and lived there for nearly 20 years enjoying a new church home, her friends and loved ones.
She was an exceptional cook and hostess her entire life always looking out for the needs of others.
She is survived by her six children; David Buck of North Carolina, Dan Buck of Burlington, Tom Buck, Phyllis Dockendorff and Kevin Buck all of Danville, Scott Buck of Missouri; one sister Ida Brown of Burlington; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, her husband and one grandson.
Services will be held at a later date.
