Rachelle Marie Ashing, 50, of Burlington, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born Oct. 30, 1974, she was the daughter of Rodney Hood and Debra Cross Redwine. She married Larry Ashing on April 2, 1993.
Rachelle worked as a housekeeper for Great River Medical Center for several years.
She enjoyed shopping, going to yard sales, collecting cow things, watching her favorite antique shows and The Golden Girls, but most importantly her time with her family, especially during the holidays.
She is survived by her mother Debra Redwine; her husband Larry Ashing; two sons Kyle J. Ashing and Blake M. Ashing and siblings Tony Hood and Kimberly Maedl.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
