Anastasia L. Harrison, 31, of Burlington, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born on November 16, 1994, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of Ron Harrison and Gayle Binder.
Annie was a 2013 graduate of Burlington High School. In her free time, she enjoyed sitting down listening to music, attending concerts, putting puzzles together and watching a television sitcom or movies that brought her comfort. The fall was her most favorite time of year along with Halloween being her most favorite holiday. A bonfire on a cool evening with friends brought her enjoyment. Annie was a social butterfly and had many friends. Being on the go with friends and family was always on Annie’s “to do” list.
Annie was most proud to be the mother to her precious daughter Harper. Harper was her life. She lived each day to the fullest trying her very best to provide and give Harper the world. Harper brought Annie the most peace, happiness and joy. Annie’s strength, and determination to fight daily was for her daughter. Her smile, kindness, loving heart, and determination will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her pride and joy daughter Harper; fiancé Brooke Young; mother Gayle (Duane) Binder; father Ron (Verlee) Harrison; siblings: Arin (Lynsey) Harrison, Anna Binder, Adam Binder, Tristan Sober, and Cheyenne (Zach) Lamb; grandparents: Marilyn (Mark Ballinger) Bachtel, Gerald (Barb DeFosse) Gerling and Gary and Mary Binder. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, extra mom Amy (Keith) Howland and her friend group known as the “Annie Squad”.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Henry and Pat Gordon and great grandparents Ed and Dorothy Nelson.
Per her wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
