Lisa Bleim, 53, of Burlington, died Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington surrounded by family.
Born September 15, 1969, in Des Moines, she was the daughter of Thomas Harry and Connee Alexander Stevens. In 1993, she married Scott Dudycha, together they had one daughter. In 2008, she married Don Bleim, together they had one child. They later divorced.
After graduating from Burlington High School, she attended Northeast Missouri State, now known as Truman State, on a golf scholarship.
She worked for Hy-Vee since 1987. She was currently the Health Market Manager for Hy-Vee on Agency.
Lisa was known for her bright personality. She was the life of the party. She was always talking and making people laugh. No person left Lisa's presence a stranger. She loved to golf, go on shopping sprees, and traveling. She loved animals, especially her cats and granddog. But most of all, Lisa loved her family and her children were her pride and joy.
Survivors include her mom, Connee Stevens of Burlington; two children, Nicole Dudycha and Addison Bleim both of Burlington; two brothers, Bill Stevens of Farmington, Minn. and Mark Stevens of Burlington; sister, Aimee Bauer of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and dad.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
The memorial service for Lisa was Thursday, October 27, at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Very Rev. Father Marty Goetz officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held at St. John's Cafeteria following the service.
Memorials have been established for Hospice House and the Des Moines County Humane Society.
