Jean Ann Rabong, 84, of West Burlington, died Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Klein Center in West Burlington.

Born December 20, 1941, in Fairfield, she was the daughter of Vernon William “Bill” and Beatrice Eloise Baker Thomes. She married Hans Rabong on May 1, 1970.

Jean worked for Winegard Co. from 1966 to 1970 and then began work in the loan department for Farmers &amp; Merchants Bank and Trust from 1980 until her retirement in 2005.

She is survived by her husband, Hans Rabong of West Burlington; daughter Heather Rabong of Middletown; son Shannon Rabong of St. Louis, Missouri, and brother Gary (Jean Ann) Thomes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Kay Miller.

A private family graveside service and interment will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice and the Klein Center.
