Vallas Milton "Mick" Albin, 69, of Gladstone, died Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals &amp; Clinics in Iowa City.

Born August 25, 1955, in Monmouth, Ill., he was the son of &nbsp;William and Bessalea Rice Albin. He married Donna McGraw in 1976 and together they spent 49 wonderful years together.&nbsp;

Mick worked as a truck driver for 26 years. He also helped with the construction of the fertilizer plant in Wever.

Mick enjoyed watching sports; especially Illinois, Packers and the Cardinals. He liked solving puzzles and playing games. He was always there for his family and friends to lend a helping hand. But most of all, Mick loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.&nbsp;

Survivors include his wife, Donna Albin of Gladstone, Ill.; his children, Cheryl Albin and Scott (Lauren) Albin both of Burlington; four grandchildren, Kylie, Klairissa, Ryker, and Mira; five siblings, Inez, Suzanne, Terry, Candy, and Tim; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jerry, one brother, Bill and one sister, Linda.

Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street.
