Larry John Raid, 86, of Denmark, died Jan. 9, 2026. Larry was born March 18, 1939, in Fairfield, the son of Arlo J. and Leontina D. Schlecht Raid. On May 28, 1966, he married Mary Elizabeth Petsche.

He is survived by his wife; his children, Michelle Tuller, John Raid, and Laura Witthoeft; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Gingrich.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Barr Memorial Chapel, with funeral services following. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the Midwest Old Threshers Foundation and Denmark Academy Fund.
