Kelli Lea Lundgren, 44, of Burlington, died Monday, August 15, 2022, at her home.
Born March 16, 1978, in Burlington, she was the daughter of David Donald and Nancy Belle Taylor Nuebel.
She was an esthetician at her business Belle Aesthetics.
She was an incredibly caring, vibrant, and outgoing person. She had a love for everybody, never knew a stranger, and always knew how to make people smile. She was a true adventurer who loved to travel. She enjoyed gardening and watching for the hummingbirds. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
Survivors include her father, David Nuebel; the father of her children, Tim Lundgren; three children, Dade Lundgren of Burlington, Emmalea (Gage) McElhinney of Morning Sun, Ia., and Taylor Lundgren of Burlington; one sister, Lynn Hardy of Burlington; one brother, Scott (Tina) Buxton of New London, Ia.; one half-brother, Donald Nuebel of Burlington; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
Cremation will be entrusted to the Prugh Crematory following the visitation.
Kelli was always an advocate for mental health. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention; www.AFSP.org.
