Barbara L. Schindall, 88, of Burlington, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at her residence.
Born Oct.25, 1934, she was the daughter of Milton and Ruth Fulton Wiele.
On Nov. 8, 1952, she married Carl Edwin Schindall in Ft Madison. He died March 3, 2002.
Barbara worked for the Andrew Corporation, retiring in 2001.
She enjoyed traveling, sewing, going to the casino, and being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Gregg) Kerby of Burlington; three grandchildren Jeremy (Jennifer) Nichols, Jered (Jennifer) Nichols, and Brittney Kerby; six great-grandchildren, Colton, Katelee, Michael, Christopher, Taylin, Alayah and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Lewis Smith, her husband Carl, two brothers Fulton Wiele and Thomas Wiele, and one great-grandchild, Allison Nichols.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
Private inurnment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
