Sharon K. Wyett, 75, of Danville, Iowa, died Friday, April 10, 2026, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born on March 9, 1951, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Richard and Carol Timmerman Cluney Sr. On August 4, 1978, in Burlington, she married Richard “Dick” Wyett.
Sharon was a 1969 graduate of Danville High School. She worked for Contract Services Limited as a bookkeeper for over twenty-six years until it closed. Sharon had a pure, and caring heart for others, always putting family and friends before herself and making sure they were provided for and taken care of. She loved animals, and attending and volunteering for the Tri-State Rodeo. Any time her son was racing, you can bet Sharon was there watching him. Most of all Sharon loved being with her family, especially her three grandchildren whom brought her the most joy.
She is survived by her husband Dick; daughter Kari Wyett and son Sean (Danielle) Wyett all of Danville, three grandchildren: Maddi, Tate and Camber Wyett all of Danville; brother Richard Cluney of Danville and sister Jeanette Butts of Middletown. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathy Caldwell and nephew Chad Caldwell.
Per her wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with burial being held in Long Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory for Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Hospice House.
