Robert “Bob” Howard Drew, 82, of Burlington, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2024. Born January 27, 1942, in Aurora, Ill., he was the son of Herbert and Alice Drew. He married Barbara Curley on May 13, 1972, in Burlington.

Bob worked for McKesson Drug Co. and then began a long career with Skelgas as a Manager and ended his career at Access Energy where he retired in 2012. He truly loved his work and took pride in taking care of his customers.

He enjoyed spending time with family, attending grandchildrens’ events, golfing, and trips to Augusta, Georgia to attend The Masters.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Burlington; two children, Gina Drew of Overland Park, Kansas and Ryan (Amy) Drew of Burlington; three grandchildren, Madison, Jackson and Isabella; brother Wayne (Sheila) Drew of Burlington; four nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers in infancy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

As a memorial, donations are suggested to P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter in memory of Robert Drew.

Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
