Joanne Grover, 86, of Burlington, died Friday, March 18, 2022, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born February 24, 1936, in LaHarpe, Ill., she was the daughter of Loren Yates Sherman and Virginia May Wing Sherman St. Clair. She married Ron Carnes and they later divorced. She then married Harlan Grover.

She was a parts handler for J. I. Case Company for 30 years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include her children, Ron Carnes and Cathy Vanover; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna Grisham and Karen Bramham.

The memorial visitation for Joanne will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.
