Barbara Ann Collier, 77, of West Burlington, died Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born on Aug. 17, 1947, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Chester and Alice Lox Heuer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother in-law Bonnie and Donnie Gray of West Burlington, and brother Bruce Heuer of Burlington.

Barb had a kind heart and loved “her” people greatly. She loved her horses and her cats. She found joy in gardening, reading and cooking for others. Barb enjoyed going to horse shows and horse back riding. She was the cook at the County Home for many years. Barb put her faith in God and enjoyed the old gospel hymns. She will be great missed by those who loved her dearly.

Per her wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
