Born May 31, 1962, in Davenport, Dean lived an exceptional life.

In his adolescent years, Dean relocated to Mediapolis with his mother, Carlis Miller, stepfather  Earl Miller, and his siblings. Dean enjoyed life in the country including riding ATVs, hunting, fishing, and life on the river at his family's cabin.

After graduating, Dean had a fulfilling 37-year career at Wal-Mart Distribution Center and had lifelong friendships with many of the people who worked alongside him.

In 1987, Dean married the love of his life, Irene Zagorski, and he moved to Burlington. In 1998, they welcomed the birth of their only daughter, Noelle Hahn. Dean loved his wife and daughter very much. Dean lived out the rest of his life loving his family, including his daughter-in-law, Ashley, and two grandchildren, Kevin and Corri. Together they all enjoyed gardening, cooking, swimming, car shows, and countless other activities. But most importantly they enjoyed being together.
