Geraldine Louise Hillman, 66, of Burlington, died Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

She was born on March 16, 1960. She worked as a custodian at various restaurants and hotels throughout her life.

She was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints.

She enjoyed collecting trinkets, silk flowers, watching Days of Our Lives and wrestling; but most importantly she loved to make people smile and laugh.

She is survived by her son Jonathan Barnett; many grandchildren she loved dearly; and siblings, June Leibli, David Dennis, Don Hillman, and Frank Hillman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Becky, Phillip, Rex and a brother in infancy.

There will be no services at this time. According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded.
