Michael E. Romkey, 78, of Coralville, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Born Feb. 13, 1943, in Iowa, he was the son of Donald and Peggy Romkey.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He married Linda Joyce Genth on Aug. 3, 1968.
Mike retired from J.I. Case after 35 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa City.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Rebecca Caskey of Muscatine; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
