Norma “Jeanie” Pleasant, 79, of Burlington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at Wapello Specialty Care. Born April 18, 1942, in Industry, Ill. she was the daughter of Howard Arthur and Mary Adeline Parker Frakes. She married Loren Dodd; they later divorced. She then married Jerry Pleasant; they later divorced. Jeanie worked as a home health care aide for many years. She was of the Christian faith. She loved her pet rabbits, and various other critters and gardening. But most of all, she treasured being a mom and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her three children, Loren Jay Dodd of Aurora, Colo., Lee (Shelly) Pleasant of Burlington, and Marty (Lorin Ruesch) of Prior Lake, Minn.; two grandchildren, James Pleasant and Anna Pleasant; siblings, Shirley Willeford of Burlington, Henry Frakes of Bernadotte, Ill., Beulah May Perkins of Burlington, Sandy Marquis of Rushville, Ill., Mary Lynn (Craig) Bussanmas of Garfield, Ark., and April Vaughn of Macomb, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents. According to her wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.&nbsp;&nbsp;
