Leslie A. Jarvis, 61, of Burlington, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at OakView Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington. Born on Jan. 20, 1963, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Paul and Rosemary Levins Loper Sr.
Leslie was a 1983 graduate of Burlington High School and a member of Divine Mercy Parish. She worked at Summer Street Vet Clinic for Dr. Skelly for many years. Leslie enjoyed doing decoupage and plaster of Paris and many other crafts. She had a soft spot in her heart for her pets and all animals. Leslie enjoyed watching comedy shows and going for rides in the car and listening to country music. Most of all Leslie loved being with her grandchildren and doing crafts with them.
She is survived by mother Rosemary; her two daughters: Nicole Hartman of Burlington and Emily Hanger of Blandinsville, Illinois; seven grandchildren: Lorenzo Raga, Kamryn Hartman, Hudson Hartman, Alice Heinzel, Alivia Heinzel, Hunter Allen and Hendrick Allen; siblings: Patrick (Diane Humphries) Loper, Paul Loper, Pamela Hester, Elmer (Joy) Loper and John Loper. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, significant other Terry O’Hair and her beloved pets: Amber and Tazer.
Per her wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel. No services will be held at this time.
