Marlene Jewel Mack, 87, of Wayland, Mo., died Monday, March 21, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Burlington.

Born January 14, 1935, in Hannibal, Mo., she was the daughter of Clady Ray and Evalina Marie Lee Sams.

She was married to Warren Walker for 22 years. She then married Marvin Mack, who died in 2019.

She was a lifetime homemaker. She served for many years as secretary on the board of Wayland Senior Housing.

Survivors include her children, Angela Marie Luna of Jones, Okla., Martha Johnson of Mooresville, Ind., and Marlene Gates of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The graveside service for Mrs. Mack will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Bonaparte Cemetery. Lunning Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
