Thomas Dean Spencer, 56, of Danville, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospitals, following a battle with cancer.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was born March 15, 1966, in Burlington to Edwin Carl and Darlene Nuss Stevens Spencer.&nbsp;&nbsp;He married Janet Genck; they later divorced.

Thomas was a graduate of Danville High School and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Western Illinois University.&nbsp;&nbsp;He worked as a draftsman at Cornerstone Building Brands in Mt. Pleasant for the past twenty-eight years.&nbsp;&nbsp;He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and all things mechanical, whether it be two wheels or four.&nbsp;&nbsp;Most especially, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include his son Nathan of Keokuk; his mother Darlene of Burlington; brothers Steve (Trina) Spencer of Danville and Mark (Lana) Spencer of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and an infant son.
