Beverly Brookhiser, age 73, of Danville, died Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Bev was born Nov. 10, 1950, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Leslie and Neola Purdom Salmon. &nbsp;Bev married Robert Brookhiser in 1983.

Bev was a very caring, loving and generous woman with a beautiful personality. &nbsp;She was a mother to everyone, whether human or animal. &nbsp;She enjoyed caring for as many dogs as she could and ensuring they had a loving home. &nbsp;She appreciated the beauty of flower gardening. &nbsp;Her kindness and compassion will be missed by all who love her.&nbsp;

Bev's family include her husband, Robert Brookhiser; children, Jason Salmon, Les Ives, Jeremy Ives, and Brock Brookhiser; grandchildren, Abbigail Ives, Zoe Salmon, Aidan Salmon, Chris Boyles, Grace Boyles and Jessica Brookhiser; siblings, Cindy (Tom) Lambert; Brenda (Tim) Distelhorst and Rick (Jane) Salmon. &nbsp;Sadly, Bev is preceded in death by her grandson, Angelus Salmon; and her parents, Leslie and Neola.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory and no services are scheduled at this time.

Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
